This is H E Fields largest in his life and he and I are proud that he made this catch this afternoon. A channel catfish weighing in at 19.58 pounds it’s been a good day. He finally fished long enough to catch one bigger than my 18.38 pound catch a few years ago. This fish was caught in Illinois Clinton Lake DeWitt County.
What you are looking at are 14 pieces of fresh caught very delicious boneless fish. 6 small bluegill and 1 crappie which gave me a total  of 14 fillets. I already had the baked sweet potato ready to go with this fish meal.
I’ve just caught this 3 to 4 LB catfish and looking forward to giving a friend a nice fresh catfish meal.

This one did not get away!

This is one of my favorite fish to eat yep it’s a bluegill, they don’t have a lot of meat but the taste and texture is great. So normally when cooking bluegill I’ll cook about 20 pieces this is enough for a meal plus give me some leftovers for later it’s a wonderful feeling to get to go to the refrigerator warm up and eat rather than to having to go through the process of cooking before you eat.

You know my photo my son in the dark glasses in the rear Jesse 2 and to my right is one of my nephews they are both good fishermen but getting better as they spend time at the lake with me no joke two great young men. We had enjoyed a few hours fishing and decided to shoot this photo

Weldon Springs

This buffalo fish was large was large it was 16 LBS I cleaned it cut the fish in steaks it was a lot there so I shared with 5 of my friends and yet had a steak or two for my dinner. This beautiful fish was caught a place call Wilburn Creek and yes the largest buffalo I’ve ever caught.
